Production & quality

PRODUCTION PREPARATION MANAGER/TOOLMAKER

The production preparer manages and maintains cutting tools and workholding equipment. Working from the tool list, they prepare and set up cutting tools for machining, assemble tool sets, and measure and offset tools on a Zoller presetting machine. The role also covers assembling workholding fixtures and working closely with production and process engineering staff.

Responsibilities

  • Management and maintenance of cutting tools and clamping tools
  • Preparation and adjustment of cutting tools for machining according to the tool list
  • Completion of tool assemblies
  • Measurement and correction of tools on a Zoller measuring machine
  • Assembly and installation of clamping fixtures
  • Collaboration with production and technology workers

What you need

  • Experience in a similar position is an advantage
  • Orientation in machining tools
  • Knowledge of drawing documentation
  • Work in 3 shifts
  • Work also suitable for graduates

The plant

The shifts
Production runs in two- or three-shift operation, planned by our own ERP. Engineering and office roles work flexible hours.
