Production & quality

CNC Machinist – 5-axis machining

The CNC machinist operates and sets up 5-axis CNC machining centres, producing precision parts mainly from aluminium alloys. The role involves working from technical drawings and documentation, making corrections to the CNC program, and inspecting finished parts with standard measuring tools. The machinist works closely with process engineers and fellow production staff.

Responsibilities

  • operating and adjusting 5-axis CNC machining centers
  • manufacturing precision parts mainly from aluminum alloys
  • working according to technical and drawing documentation
  • working with CNC program, making necessary corrections
  • checking manufactured parts using common measuring instruments
  • cooperating with technologists and colleagues from production

What you need

  • experience with 5-axis CNC machines (Hermle, Mazak an advantage)
  • orientation in technical documentation
  • knowledge of basic measuring instruments
  • ability to make corrections and react to the machining process
  • carefulness and responsibility for the quality of the work performed
  • willingness to work in 3-shift operation

The plant

The shifts
Production runs in two- or three-shift operation, planned by our own ERP. Engineering and office roles work flexible hours.
